This committee shall inform and educate Council on matters related to women's issues in the community including activities associated with the Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women (December 6th) and International Women's Day (March 8th); liaise with like-minded groups in the community and other labour organizations; report to Council on struggles in our community related to the above issues and to recommend action to Council to support these struggles.
All locals affiliated to Council shall be asked to send one (1) delegate to this committee with vioce but no vote.
