Hamilton and District Labour Council

Brock University and Mohawk College offer a collaborative program in Labour Studies leading to an honours degree and a college certificate.

This four-year program combines training in various applied labour studies settings at Mohawk College with an honours degree in Labour Studies at Brock. Students obtain both applied skills and a strong theoretical foundation in various aspects of labour studies.

Students attend Brock for the first year, then both Brock and Mohawk for the final three years of their studies. The program leads to career opportunities in various areas including unionized environments, occupational health and safety, politics, and human resources.
